DR. PEZOLD
Dr. Janet Pezold is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. She was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award. Dr. Pezold received the highest honor awarded to the top 10% of graduating dental students when she was elected into the OKU Honorary Dental Society. She lives in Costa Mesa and enjoys paddle-boarding, hiking, and traveling in her converted campervan with her husband. It is her mission to make her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair, believing that the best way to maintain healthy smiles is to take the time to develop personalized health plans by listening and understanding each patient's individual needs.

Dr. Mark Yamamoto graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry in 1969. Dr. Mark Yamamoto received his MAGD (Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry) in 1996. At that time, he was the only dentist in Orange County to receive the degree that year. In 1996 he was also inducted into the Pierre Fouchard Academy. This is an “invitation only” honor organization of dentists that are considered to be the top 2% of practicing dentists. Besides being very accomplished, the dentists are also required to be known for charitable service to the public. Dr. Mark Yamamoto, D.D.S., FAGD, MAGD has a reputation for excellence in dentistry in addition to his expertise with occlusion (correct bite matching). Dr. Yamamoto was proud to be an assistant clinical professor at USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry until 2017. He continues his passion of treating TMJ disorder to those in need one day a week. His expertise, patience and tenacity has helped relieve hundreds of patients of TMJ pain.

Yasmin is the friendly face who greets you the moment you walk through our doors. She takes pride in providing patients with a positive experience from their very first phone call to the moment they leave. With a love for dentistry and an interest in becoming a dental hygienist, Yasmin brings both enthusiasm and dedication to her role. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two beloved cats. Yasmin’s warmth, bright personality, and genuine care help ensure every patient feels valued and well taken care of.

Catherine brings extensive experience in the dental field and a genuine passion for connecting with patients. She works closely with each person to help navigate insurance and create personalized treatment plans that meet their needs. Catherine’s dedication doesn’t stop at the front desk—she’s always ready to lend a hand in the back with the doctors when needed. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and biking with her dogs and traveling to new places with her family. Catherine’s expertise, warmth, and willingness to go above and beyond make her an essential part of our team.

Jane has been working as a dental assistant for two years and is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. She loves working with patients and enjoys getting to know them through friendly conversations during their visits. Jane’s warm personality helps make every appointment a little brighter.
Outside of work, Jane can usually be found relaxing with her four cats—or catching up on an impressive 14 hours of sleep in a single stretch.
Kaitlyn has been growing in dentistry for over five years, bringing both skill and a caring touch to her role as a registered dental assistant. She is passionate about dentistry and takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout every visit. Her friendly personality and calm approach help create a positive experience from start to finish.
When she’s not in the office, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family and unwinding with her favorite video games.

With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, Veronica brings unmatched skill, compassion, and energy to her role as a dental hygienist. She is deeply passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for during every visit—and confident and healthy when they leave. Known for her friendly, upbeat personality, she creates a fun, welcoming environment that makes even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Outside the office, Veronica enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new places through travel.
Ernesto has been a hygienist since 2016. His passion for dental hygiene has led him to teaching. He is currently a professor at West Coast University helping the new wave of students become hygienists. Ernesto’s goal is to help his patients reach the best oral health they can achieve. On a personal note, Ernesto has two young children that mean the world to him. He also helps teach Brazilian Jiujitsu as one of the black belt instructors at his gym.
Amber has been a registered dental hygienist since 2012. She graduated from Moreno Valley College and continued to obtain her B.S. degree in dental hygiene from Foothill College in 2020. Amber’s favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients, meeting new people and helping her patients achieve optimum oral health. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, going to the gym, concerts and spending time with friends and family.
is located in the heart of Huntington Beach, on Beach Blvd between Warner and Slater Avenues. We are positioned on the second floor of the Huntington Plaza medical & dental building, in suite 202. Our office utilizes 5 operatories with digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, soft tissue laser treatment, state-of-the-art sterilization equipment, same day crown (CEREC) milling and specialized TMJ diagnostic and treatment capabilities. We are paperless and use digital chart keeping to track patient health and treatment plans. Our text messaging and email reminders help our patients stay informed of their appointments and on top of their oral health.
